ES Consulting has delivered an integrated warehouse management system which receives orders from a number of web shops and manages the fulfilment of these orders by the warehouse.

The interface to the company's web sites means that there is no manual intervention required to enter orders into their accounts package Sage 50 Accounts or Sage Barcoder. Orders appear for dispatch in Sage Barcoder as they are created by customers.

The warehouse system delivers control and visibility to the dispatch of all orders and has reduced dispatch errors from 1% to 0.03%. The financial savings made in this area alone mean that the system was paid for in less than 10 months.

Safelincs Ltd have also purchased the Sage Barcoder mobile module. This module is primarily used to facilitate easy and accurate stock taking using the minimum resources. This in itself has further reduced costs significantly. The module also delivers many other functions, however, stock identification is particularly useful.
